Settlement patterns and residential concentrations of migrants in Russia

Timeframe: December 2018 - December 2021

Migrants’ integration is strongly associated with their settlement patterns. Among such patterns is the emergence of their residential concentration places. Moreover, such places may strongly differ in terms of mechanisms of their emergence, types of migrants living there, as well as the nature of association between living there and integration. Since 2018 the Group has been researching upon settlement patterns and residential concentrations of migrants in Russia in the international context.
